This lemonade is more than tart than sweetness like pinkish lemonade normally is. I served this at a party and everyone loved it...even the kids that were in that location! My husband who doesn't like cranberry juice like it too!

I certainly hope bdh76 didn't put 9 cups of carbohydrate in this!! That would definitely arrive sugariness- haha! I just put 1 ane/2 every bit opposed to ii, everything else I followed exactly. This turned out to be more of a cranberryade for me though... I only put the 1 cup in, but you tin taste the cranberry over the lemon. If you want it to look more pink you'll accept to add together a few drops of red nutrient coloring likewise. All in all a VERY tasty beverage though!!

Yum!!! This is my offset review on the site, though I've tried hundreds of recipes. I thought the lemonade a niggling sweetness. Probably don't need 9 cu. saccharide. Otherwise, definitely a keeper!

This lemonade is a dandy addition to any gathering. I utilize Splenda instead of sugar and it's only as good. Thank you for this refreshing drinkable.

This lemonade is quite refreshing! I used a bottled lemon juice, (which I purchased from Aldi's) rather than using fresh lemon juice, and it tasted nifty in this lemonade. I besides used a raspberry-cranberry juice, which I purchased from Aldi's. The amount of ingredients I used were... 1-cup of carbohydrate, 4-one/2 cups of h2o, 1-cup of lemon juice, and 3/iv cup of cranberry juice. Hubs loves cranberry juice and he loved this also - me not so much. While I'm non particularly crazy nearly cranberry juice that wasn't even the issue. Pretty and pink simply too sugariness for me.

i have to say that the sugar was just far to much, i only used 1 1/2 cups and it was yet very sweet. the cranberry made it 'clacky' and covered whatsoever overnice lemony flavour which may heve been in that location. I added just a small amout of rasberry juice (juste nought to make it pink) and my family and i loved information technology.

My son is a huge pink lemonade fan, and then I made this for him to try. He gave it 2 thumbs up! We didn't apply quite ii cups of carbohydrate as he likes his less sweet. Sure hits the spot!

This was nice and tart, which me and one of my kids admittedly loved. My husband and other son thought information technology needed more sugar. Admittedly wonderful, going on my opinion alone. I loved the combination of lemon juice and cranberry juice. SO practiced!

This recipe is sweeter than I prefer my lemonade, but a base of operations recipe! I honey to swallow lemons like apples, and so as y'all can imagine I like my lemonade tart. The first time I fabricated information technology I used 2 cups frozen raspberries and blended them with ii cups h2o to make 'raspberry juice'. i strained it and used that in place of the cranberry -- information technology was a huge hitting. I as well took the carbohydrate down to 1 1/2 cups. The next time I made it i used frozen strawberries. Because they are so sweet, and I had made a bigger batch i did the following: 1 1/2 c frozen strawberries, fourteen cups water, 1 one/two c sugar and 4 c lemon juice. it was perfect! I had a bbq yesterday with near 15 people total and concluded up making 6 GALLONS of this in 2 hours!

This is Delicious! I first made this for my daughter's b-day party. It ended up being 3 quarters of a recipe because I didn't go a full 2 cups of lemon juice out of 7 lemons. I just made it for a 2nd time and since lemons aren't cheap here in MD, I decided to employ bottled lemon juice similar another reviewer suggested. The bottled lemon juice made it a piddling too tart so I decided to add an actress cup of cranberry juice. It still turned out succulent with a more reasonable expense! Much healthier than from a tin that contains loftier fructose corn syrup.

1st time making homemade lemonade. i used 8lemon/orange tfrom my tree and added 8cups of water and 1cup of cranberry &2cu.sugar and turned amazing.the color was pretty pink and wasnt to tart which is what i like. Def. will be making this again

I squeezed 8 lemons to make this recipe and it was yummo. I also used Cran-Ras juice. The juice wasn't pink enough, then I added 2 drops of blood-red nutrient dye just to make information technology really 'pinkish' =)

Delicious! I halved the recipe merely to endeavour this out. I couldn't stop drinking this. And it'southward such a pretty drink, too. The cranberry juice adds only the right amount of tartness, different from that of the lemon, but doesn't overpower the lemon flavor. I'll be making this all the time when summer finally arrives!

UPDATE: Made a second batch of lemonade yesterday b/c I bought way as well many lemons the get-go time! Nevertheless excellent. Actuallly, I thought it was even amend the second day (I just finished the glassful left from last night). Very practiced! Fabricated this final nighttime for my bf and I. We both had a taste for pink lemonade fabricated with fresh ingredients. This didn't take much time at all to prepare. I scaled the recipe to make four servings. One complaint. This is a fleck expensive to brand (the cheapest lemons I could detect in the Chicagoland area were $1.79 a lb.), and then I recollect I'll pull this out for "special" occasions or when lemons are on auction! this is great! i did employ bottled lemon juice instead of fresh lemons because i was brusque on time. information technology was much more tart than my family would like and then i had to add a little more sugar. next fourth dimension i volition try using fresh squeezed lemon juice.

This is exactly the way I make my pinkish lemonade and I wouldn't make information technology any other way. Mine isn't tart though, and then I might take a niggling more than sugar in my recipe. This tin can be adapted according to taste so easily, and both fresh lemons and cranberries are so salubrious! A winner recipe!

First of all my daughter loved it! I am thinking it is just a tad as well sweet for my personal preference. I will endeavor lessening the saccharide by a 1/two cup the next time to encounter if it will help. Over all information technology was a great recipe. I will be making this again.

Just a side note: it is a lot easier to combine the carbohydrate with the remainder of the ingredients if you exercise it this way: 1. Place sugar in small sauce pan two. Add a cup of water for one.5 cups sugar. Thus recipe calls for 2 cups sugar. Maybe 1 3/four cups water with that. 3. Bring to a boil while stirring to make a thin syrup. four. Reduce rut and continue stirring equally needed to deliquesce all sugar v. Remove from heat, permit to cool, cover saucepan and place in fridge to arctic. This was great stuff. I made it exactly equally written. My pitcher wasn't big plenty for everything, though, so I used a stockpot! It occurred to me that it'due south probably hard to find actual cranberry juice, and the recipe probably meant "cranberry juice cocktail" (I used Ocean Spray's "original"). A tasty concoction. I never thought to use cranberry juice to make a lemonade. I cutting back on the sugar per other reviews. I only used 1 and 1/2 cups of sugar. Adjacent time, I will add some lurid as my family likes pulp in their lemonade.

An important note to everyone who plans to make this recipe; pay close attention to what I'm about to write! This is very important to the recipe! At least a couple of people who fabricated this have misread the recipe. You simply add two cups of carbohydrate, NOT 9 cups! It's 9 cups of WATER! The juice will be disgustingly sweet if y'all add together ix cups of carbohydrate! Follow the recipe every bit information technology is written and you will accept a delicious pink lemonade! :)
